1347 is management boardgame, based on betting/wagering and action programming mechanics.

The Black Death arrives via Eastern trade routes, bringing suffering and misery to the towns and countryside. No one is safe from the plague! The sole hope for relief from a slow and painful death lies in the hands of the plague doctors, men trained in medicine and healing, without fear of contagion. Dressed in black cloaks and masks stuffed with vinegar-rags and spices, the surgeons roam the town streets searching for the infected.

Will you prove yourselves as valorous surgeons, up to the tasks you’re called to resolve?

1347 is a management board game, based on betting / wagering and action programming mechanics. You will be a Plague Doctor who aims to become the most influential one in the village. Cure the infected villagers to gain their power; increase your wealth; hire Plague Apprentices in the docks in order to become the most powerful Doctor of the A.D.1347!

FAQ: Frequently Asked Questions
These are the answers for some frequently asked questions. If you have more questions, you can write us a private message.

1. How can I get the game?
The game is ready but we are crowdfunding to produce it and to improve the quality of the components. The crowdfunding will go on from the 23rd of May (17:00 Central Europe Time) to the 27th of June both on Kickstarter and Giochistarter.

2. In which languages will the game be available?
The game is ready in english and italian. It will be translated in german, french and spanish after getting 50 backers from Germany, 50 from France or 50 from Spain.

3. When will the game be shipped?
The game will be shipped within November 2018, so that it will be delivered to subscribers in time for Christmas. It is possible to pick it up at Lucca Comics and Games (31 Oct, 1-4 Nov) without paying any shipping cost.

4. Do you ship to every country?
Almost, unfortunately we cannot deliver 1347 to the following countries, due to problematic delivery conditions: Afghanistan, DRC, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Myanmar, North Korea, Pakistan, Russia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria, Ukraine, Venezuela, Yemen.

5. Will I have to pay additional custom fees?
We ship from Italy, so the shipment is custom friendly in the EU and USA. Please note that we are not responsible for additional fees or any problem regarding the customs in your country.

6. Which are the differences between pledging on Kickstarter and on Giochistarter?
There are no differences, except that the retailer edition is available only on Giochistarter (and only for Italy).

7. What's the crowdfunding goal?
The goal is 10k€ on Kickstarter and 10k€ on Giochistarter or 20k€ summing the two of them. This is the amount of money necessary to cover the realization and production costs.

8. Do you have an early bird version?
Yes, but it will be available only for the first 24 hours and the number of copies will be limited: 300 on Kickstarter, 100 on Giochistarter.

9. Are there any stretch-goals?
Yes, once the goal will be reached we will have some stretch goals to improve the game's quality.

10. Are there any deluxe editions?
Yes we will have the deluxe edition (which also includes meeples and 3d first player token) and the premium box (which also includes metal coins, a t-shirt and an artbook). All of these components are also available as add-ons.
