Settled years after the first Tiny Epic, in this game, players work together to Defend the Capital City and defeat the Epic Foe. All players win or lose collectively. The game ends when either the Capital City falls (players lose) or the Epic Foe is defeated (players win).
Tiny Epic Defenders (TED) is the acclaimed sequel to Tiny Epic Kingdoms. Here on Giochistarter we present the project to publish the official Italian edition (under Gamelyn games lincense).
Tiny Epic Defenders its a game for 1-4 players that takes 30 minutes to play.
Story
After the Great War (Tiny Epic Kingdoms), many of the factions, shattered and defeated, looked for something to cling to. One final hope before the last of their race would flow like the river into the ocean of history, gone and forgotten. It was the sages of the Order of Gamelyn who answered their prayers. They provided a new perspective on unity, and a way of life that would welcome peaceful members of any faction. A utopia for all. With very few options and a will to survive, this world alliance became an inevitable truth in the eyes of many of the factions’ leaders. Even factions who hated one another had nothing left but each other. Under the guidance of the Order of Gamelyn, a Capital City was chosen and factions from all over the world came to call this city their new home. At last, the world was at peace… but not for long. A great storm is coming and in the darkness of the mist, there be demons.
Overview
At the beginning of the game players will select their own Hero and create together the Kingdom by choosing and positioning the outer regions. After that, choosing the difficulty level, they will create the corresponding Turn and Horde card decks. In each round cards will be drawn from the Turn deck until it will end completely. At that point Horde cards with more enemies will be added to the deck. After the Horde deck is finished, the Epic Foe will come. The game will continue until either the capital will fall or Epic Foe are defeated.
The Heroes
At the beginning of the game players will choose a Hero. Each Hero brings unique benefits to the party.
Create your World
The players will position the Capital City at the center of the table and the 6 region cards around it. Meeples will be placed on the Capital City card representing Heroes and on each Region card a Threat marker will be placed.
Creating the Decks
Players will make up the Turn, Horde and Destruction decks depending on game difficulty and number of players.
Begin to Play
The Horde Deck acts like a timer as it feeds cards into the Turn Deck each round. As the Turn Deck evolves each round, it will be up to players to adapt with it. Learn your deck, win the game!
Each turn is more difficult
As Enemy Cards are drawn, Region threat is increased. Without progressive turn-management they will begin to burn, exposing the Capital City.
The games evolve as Dire Enemies are introduced
Dire Enemies bring threatening powers into play but offer great rewards to the Heroes tough enough to defend them!
Acquire Artifacts
Defending a Dire Enemy yields a powerful one-time-use item that can shift the tides of battle in your favor.
Enter the Epic Foes
If you are able to do enough damage to the Epic Foe and kill it, you've just won the game!

It's possible to choose between the standard edition or the deluxe edition. The Deluxe edition contains some exclusive cards which will not be available in shops after the campaign.

Deluxe Edition Components
Deluxe Edition includes all standard edition components and these additional cards:

In addition of that from unlocked stretch-goals is possible to add to Deluxe contents: 4 new Hero cards, 1 Dire Enemy, 1 Epic Foe and 1 Artifact for a total of 11 exclusive cards.
All Deluxe Edition components will not be available in shops after the campaign.
How to pay?
It's allowed to pay with credit cards (Paypal) or by Bank wire transfer. Payments must be made within 7 days from the date of the order or the order will be canceled.
Shipping
Shipping by mail to Italy costs simbolically 1 euro. For other Countries shipping cost will be shown after clicking "Proceed to checkout” button on the cart. Aproximately the cost to ship a game to European Union/USA/Canada is about 7-10 euro.
It’s possible pick-up your copy here in Rome for free. Those who choose this option will be able to do it for a week earlier than the beginning of shipments.
We strongly suggest to specify a telephone number in your profile. This helps a lot the game delivery.
When I will receive it?
We will start to ship on June-July 2015 or as soon we will receive the games in our warehouse. We will ship games following the order date. Their completion will take a few days, depending on the amount of participants in the project. Shipments to the participants in the campaign will be made in advance than that to stores and Italian distributors, which will be made only in September.
Risks and challenges
Production. Rarely occur production delays out of our control and by our actions. For example there may be a technical problem printing the box or a delay of the supplier of the parts of the game. This fact should be taken into account. We will notify you promptly if something like that were to happen.
Shipments. Depending on the game, we ship by Postal mail service and/or by DHL. This is specified on "Shipping option page".
Shipments made by Postal service can not be traced and, although it rarely does, it can happen that they delay or are lost. We recommend to those who want to avoid any problem to use the insured shipping.
Shipments made by DHL can be tracked. If you live in a remote place, like an atoll on the Pacific Ocean or a village on the Mount Everest, there will be a supplement on the DHL shipping cost. This aspect will be evaluated at the end of the campaign and the we will ask to you to pay the supplement before to do the shipping. You can check all DHL world remote areas on this link.
Insurance of shipments do not cover in any case any external damage to the box.
If the game will not be delivered because of your mistake (wrong address,recipient repeatedly absent, do not pick up the package after the passage of the courier, etc.), you will have to pay an additional shipping cost for re-send you the game. This cost will also include the return costs of the game. Otherwise we will send it back at our expense.
If live out of the European Community, customs taxes could be added. This usually doesn't happen for USA. Check your Country legislation.
