From our earliest years onward, fairy tales have an enormous impact on our lives. They entertain us with the daring deeds of colorful heroes and villains. They inspire us to go on adventures of our own and see the world in whole new ways. And they remind us that no matter how dark life gets, there’s always hope, always a reason to fight for our dreams. Inspired by the fairy tale lore we have come to love, 12 Realms is a co-op adventure game, letting whole families determine the fate of imaginative worlds where anything is possible. 12 Realms offers players the chance to act as fairy tale heroes—everyone from Sinbad and King Arthur to Red Riding Hood, Nutcracker, Robin Hood and beyond.
WHAT IS 12 REALMS? A co-op adventure game for 1-6 players including a 7th player variant with high customizable modes and infinite replayability. You can create a way too easy game or a really hard one. Each player chooses a well know Hero from the fairy world, takes his board and miniature and some Talents and all togeher try to defend the realms from the Dark Lords' attacks who invaded in this fairy world because they could not stand the fact that in every fairy tale, they were always losing.
12 REALMS IS THE BASIC GAME. ANCESTORS LEGACY, BEDTIME STORY, GHOST TOWN AND GHOST GALLEON ARE EXPANSIONS. ALL EXPANSIONS REQUIRE THE BASIC GAME IN ORDER TO PLAY THEM.
Bedtime Story continues to build on the 12 Realms legacy and brings four new Realms: Tang Dynasty, Horrorville, Clockwork Shire and Atlantis. Here are some of the Plots we've prepared that we will reach through the Stretch Goals: In Tang Dynasty a god has been born with unlimited power. Players begin their journey from the same realm and they must travel from one land to another but to do that they must destroy the Walls which separate each land. Each Wall has three parts, and they can be destroyed by accomplishing different tasks. In each round Archers on top of the wall attack and all players lose Talents, making the game progressively more difficult! As players try to destroy the Walls in a Realm, Invaders take over the rest of the Active Realms! When you get to the Palace, you must all face the god who was born there and then one of you can take his power! On the other side of the fairy world, Atlantis is sinking and the flood affects all the other active Realms, Steam Baron has stopped time in Clockwork Shire and Maila is running loose in Horrorville! THE MINIATURES
Four exciting new Realms lie hidden in the Fairy world and you must prepare yourself to explore them so as to defeat all of their enemies. Kievan Empire, Golden Caliphate, Olympia, and Nile Valley are the new lands you will get to explore to learn their secrets. Ruslan, Prince Ivan, along with the rest of the heroes, will unite to fight against Marid, Sobek, Anubis and the rest of the Dark Lords. Ancestors Legacy provides a much different game through its seven different Plots-Scenarios.
Robin Hood, Snow White, Red Riding Hood,and the other heroes of the 12 Realms are being reunited for one last epic adventure. The Dark Lords have joined forces to conquer and subjugate all the known Fairy Lands, and only the combined efforts of all the greatest heroes can halt their nefarious plan. All players must band together to stop the Dark Lords' overwhelming hordes from pillaging the 12 Realms. To vanquish the Dark Lords you must claim a powerful artifact. In their quest to stop the invasion, the heroes can travel together between the lands or they can try to single-handedly defend a realm.
