Esta campaña ha terminado, pero usted puede comprar una copia de Historical metal coins, wave 3 su giochix.it. Puedes iniciar sesión con las mismas credenciales que se utilizan aquí en giochistarter.

How many times did you crave to play with real metal coins instead of plastic or cardboard ones? Feeling their weight, hearing their sound, seeing them shine…Now you can!

After our first two campaigns' success, we are now back, taking another leap in the past with our fantastic metal coins!

We have a new coin set, the Arthur Myth, and a new campaign methodology. Now you can pledge your coins by weight! During the pledge manager, you will choose which coins add to your pledge up to your reward weight. You will select each coin type, in groups of 5 coins, in any color, from any set.

-> You will be able to choose ANY coins, also MIXING BETWEEN ALL THE AVAILABLE COINS TYPESFor example, with a SMALL Pack reward (about 450 grams of coins), you will choose 25 copper coins from the Precolombian Set + 15 silver coins from the Ancient Roman Set, 15 gold and 20 silver coins Celtic Set.
Any combination with all the coin types available is allowed up the weight available on your reward! The selection is in groups of 5 coins of the same type during the pledge manager.

You can also collect your pledge at the Essen fair, if you prefer, thus saving on shipping costs!

(if the event is canceled due to the pandemic, you'll choose to ship to your home address instead).

You can use these coins for your board games, roleplaying games, or even fill a chalice in your dining room to show off. This is your opportunity to hoard a treasure of your own!
We have a new set for this campaign, Arthur Myth. Then there are available other ten sets which you will fully immerse yourself in your favorite setting. Begone old cardboard coins, enough with treasure written on character sheets! It’s time to make that treasure a reality and feel the metal coins in your bare hands.

There are several rewards available, each defined by weight. You will be able to choose several sets of coins (5 identical coins per set) of any type in any combination of all available formats up to the expected weight.

Coins size: coins are about 24, 26, 28mm diameter respectively for silver, gold, copper color, and the weight is about 6-7 grams per coin.

Please note that the package final weight can vary. Consider a tolerance of + or - the 10%.

Between the end of the fifth century and the beginning of the sixth, it is said of a leader who managed to defend Great Britain from the Saxon invaders: his name was Arthur

Although various historians quoted his existence is not ascertained: but the influence and fascination of figures such as Guinevere, Lancelot, Camelot, and the Round Table cannot be denied.
Featured in games such as Shadows over Camelot, Lancelot, Tainted Grail.

Very large silver coinages were being struck in southeastern England. The new silver coins are similar to the tremisses (a Roman gold coin) in terms of size and weight: small (typically 10-12mm in diameter), thick and usually weighing 1–1.3g. On the left, a diademed bust right, with a cross in front. London 710 AD.
On the same coin group. Coiled wolf with the curled tongue facing right. London 720 AD.
A silver penny of Offa. Offa of Mercia was King of Mercia, a kingdom of Anglo-Saxon England, from 757 to 796 AD.

Thank you to this campaign we will able to reprint our 10 historical coin sets, which are all available in this campaign:

The Ancient Roman set is inspired by different kinds of Roman coins from different periods: stater - inspired by Greek coins, denarius - a dollar of antiquity - and aureus - heavier due to the higher density of gold.

Roman coins had an essential role in spreading ideas and messages in Roman society: they were like mass media. Incisions celebrated Rome's history, faced religious, social, and historical themes, celebrated monuments, recalled myths, legends, and victories: Roman coins were political propaganda.
These are the coins you took inspiration from:

Denario "dollar of antiquity". In the incision Dioscuri on horseback in a starry night, referring to the battle of Lake Regillo, turned in favor of the Romans from the arrival, on the twilight, of the divine twins.
Augustus coined aureus. In the engraving Temple of Mars Ultor: round-domed, tetra-style temple set on a podium of three steps; within, is a chariot, carrying an Aquila and a miniature, galloping quadriga. (Yes, of course, "Aureus" should be a gold coin, but we are artists, so we changed the material!)
The Rome foundation of Romulus and Commemorative Remus coined by Constantine I 'The Great.
Around 330 AD, Constantine the Great completed his new capital for the Roman Empire and called it Constantinople, originally the ancient Greek city called Byzantium. For the memorable occasion of Constantinople, he issued this bronze coin depicting the standing wolf that left to sip Romulus and Remus, the founders of Rome.

Ancient Greece is one of the most famous and known cultures, worthy of remembrance and myth, inspiring legends, tales, and stories till this day.
This set can be used for games like 7 Wonders, 7 Wonders Duels, Elysium, Deus, and many more.

These are the coins you took inspiration from:

Gold Pentadracma (reverse, 323 - 285 b.C)
This coin was minted for Ptolemy I ruler of Egypt's Kingdom, as a gift by Greece in memory of Alexander the Great, who recently passed. The coin shows an eagle grasping a thunderbolt.

Silver Stater (395-338 b.C)
The amphora is the symbol of a family in this case. In the background is the name of the magister and therefore differentiating the coin from others like it.

Tetradracma (after 449 b.C)
In Ancient Greece, the term drachma was used unit for measuring weight. The first coins showed various animals, in this case, an owl symbol of the goddess Athena.

Vikings made themselves known to the world between 800 b.C and 1100 a.C, when they left their northern lands searching for fortune and glory, raiding the European coasts. Formidable warriors and courageous seafarers, leaving their mark from the European kingdoms to the Americas.
This set can be used for games like A Feast for Odin, Clans of Caledonia, and many more.
These are the coins you took inspiration from:

Odin’s three Horns (939)
During the occupation of York in 939, the Vikings minted a series of coins, and many are rare today. One of these is Odin’s Three Horns.

Vegvisir’s Compass (1600)
Vegvisir is one of the most ancient and sacred northern symbols that originated in Iceland: “Vagur” means road or trail, and “Visir” means to guide. Such a symbol was often inscribed on ships for good fortune.

Yggdrasil (IX century)
This coin was inspired by the immense tree that stretches through the cosmos, connecting the Nine Worlds.

Medieval coins from different cities inspire the Italian Medieval set: Alfonsino issued in the Kingdom of Naples, Genovino from Genoa, Florin coined in the Republic of Florence.

From the second half of the eighth century, with the monetary reform of Charlemagne, the coinage in Western Europe resumed. Even if the diffusion is initially limited, gradually, the use of money joins the barter, which had once again become the main means of exchange after the Roman Empire's collapse.

Alfonsino, a gold coin issued in the Kingdom of Naples by Alfonso I of Naples (1442-1458). It had a duchy and a half value, and its engraving represents the emblem of the Aragonese.
Genovino, issued in Genoa for the first time in 1252, just before the issue of the Florentine coin.
In the engraving, we see the heraldic cross and around CVNRADVS REX, i.e., Corrado III, who in 1139 had granted the city the right to coin money.
Fiorino, a 24-karat gold coin, was first coined in 1252 in Florence. The engraving represents St. John, the patron saint of the city.
In the thirteenth century and until the Renaissance, the florin became the favorite currency of exchange in Europe, a sort of euro of time.

From the late 4th century BC to the late 1st century BC, the Celts moved to a monetary economy because of relations and commercial contacts with the Greeks.

Celtic coins were influenced by Mediterranean coinage: originally, they copied the Greek types, then the design became more symbolic.
There were engraved giants that drag heads severed, knights in charge, gods and goddesses, skulls, thunder and lightning, the sun and the moon. Celtic coins are miniature surreal art masterpieces!

Vindelici Regenbogenschüsselchen - rainbow cup - featuring Triskelis with ball-ended ends, in a kind of laurel wreath. According to folk belief, these coins could be found where a rainbow touched the earth in plowed fields after heavy rainfall, and they were thought to bring luck.

Celtic coin issued about AD 61, featuring the face of Boudicca, a queen of the British Celtic Iceni tribe. She led the largest anti-Roman revolt of the island's tribes.
Biatech, hexadrachms of the Bratislava type. Biatec was the name of a person, presumably a king, who appeared on the Celtic coins minted by the Boii - a Gallic tribe of the later Iron Age.

The Spanish Colonial set is inspired by coins issued in overseas expansion when Spain discovered the New World.

The Spanish set is inspired by the reals, used for several centuries in Spain, the escudo, and the doubloons, ancient gold coins minted in Spain and Spanish America from the 16th century to the middle of the 19th century, that in Europe became the model for several other gold coins.
This is the perfect setting for any pirate or colonial game!

Philip V, gold 8 Escudos, known as “piece of eight”. Philip V King of Spain was the first Spanish monarch of the Bourbon dynasty, and his reign has been the longest in modern Spanish history.
Silver real was coined in Seville during the reign of Peter I of Castile (1350-1369). The real (meaning: "royal") was a currency unit in Spain for several centuries after the mid-14th century. The first real was introduced by King Pedro I of Castile at the value of 3 maravedies.
Carlos II, gold 8 Escudos. Cross of Jerusalem with lions and castles in the angles. Carlos II was the last Spanish King of the Hapsburg Dynasty. Due to his young age when rising to the throne at four, Spain was ruled by the King's mother and her friends for years. Not producing an heir with either of his two wives, Carlos named a French prince to succeed him. Late in 1700, Carlos passed away at the age of 39, leaving the kingdom much impoverished.

The Ottoman Empire lasted from 1299 to 1922, one of the most lasting in history! With a Sultan as a sovereign, it was a bridge between the West and East for over five centuries.
This set can be used for games like The Voyages of Marco Polo, Five Tribes, Istanbul, and many more.
These are the coins you took inspiration from:

3 Altin, Abdul Hamid I (1773)
The coin worth 3 Altin refers to Abdul Hamid I, the twenty-seventh sultan that ended the war between Russia and Turkey, saving the empire.

Mustafa II (1695 - 1703)
With 42mm in diameter, it is one of the biggest coins ever minted. Sultan Mustafa II guided the empire into the war between Russia and Turkey.

Zeri Mahbub, Mahmud I (1731)
Inscribed is the tughra of Mahmud I, meaning the personal signature or sigil of the sultan, Mahmud I was sultan after his father Mustafa II.

Pre-Columbian era set takes inspiration from the indigenous Americas cultures like Maya, Aztec, Inca civilizations.

Pre-Columbian civilizations used barter instead of money, so we design this set, taking inspiration from their arts and rituals. Every coin represents a symbol or relevant element of those cultures, like the sun, cosmos, supernatural beings, or skulls. Use this set to enjoy boardgames set in the Americas before Christopher Columbus arrives in the New World.

Human skull decorated with a polychromic mosaic, tessels of turquoise, hematit, and tumbaga gold sheets. Mixtec-Aztec, Mexico - 1300-1521 A.D.
Monolith of the Stone of the Sun, also named Aztec calendar stone, in the center is the face of the solar deity, Tonatiuh.
Hammered gold breastplates from central Panama decorated with intricate embossed images of supernatural beings with claws, bared teeth, and serpentine appendages.

The Holy Roman Empire lasted from 962 a.C to 1806 a.C, spreading from Central Europe to Western Europe. It reached its apex in the Early Middle Medieval, being formally dissolved in 1806.
This set can be used for games like Princeps of Florence, Architects of the West Kingdom, Castles of Mad King Ludwig, Orleans, Caylus, Citadels, and many more.

These are the coins you took inspiration from:

Silver Coin with Leopold I (reverse, 1670)
The coin shows a two-headed eagle with the crown of the king above it.

Kipper from Nuremberg (1622)
The Kipper coins were coins minted with a value much higher than the physical value of the coin.

Silver Coin with Leopold I (obverse, 1670)
On this side Leopold I is shown proudly with a simple laurel crown as in Ancient Roman tradition.

The Victorian Era was a period of British history during Queen Victorian’s reign, from 1837 to her death in 1901. A period defined by romanticism and mysticism.
This set can be used for games like Brass, The Walls of York, Puerto Rico, Newton, and many more.
These are the coins you took inspiration from:

Florin, 2 shillings (reverse, 1849)
During Vittoria’s reign, a silver florin was minted with a value of 24 pence. The coin's back shows four shields divided by scepters and a rose in the center; no value is shown on the coin.

Half Crown, 2 shillings, and 6 pence (1845)
Minted for a value of 30 pence, it shows the four shields, once divided on the florin, now reunited under the crown of Britain.

Florin, 2 shillings (obverse, 1849)
The front had a peculiar design as the queen is wearing a crown (the first time since it appeared with Charles II). This crown is based on the imperial crown but was adapted to fit the border of the coin.

After the campaign, we will send you an email giving you access to our Pledge Manager.

The Pledge Manager is a special section of our website, where you will able to specify the coins which you want, add any additional rewards, and add-ons. When you add these to your order, you will find the same prices you had when you joined the camping.

In the Pledge Manager, you will also be adding your shipping address and paying the shipping costs.

Shipping in Italy will cost about 6 euro for 5 sets. To know the relative costs for greater quantities, you can proceed with an order and look at the possible shipping methods.

You can also pick up your coin sets in Rome at Giochix Shop (Via Igino Giordani 18, 00159) or, if available in time, a stand at the game fair in Essen (Germany). The coins will be shipped starting October-November 2021.

Shipping costs shown above are regarding the less expensive option and paid during the Pledge Manager after the campaign.

Availability. You must take into consideration that the shipment date is indicative. We will do our best to respect such a date, but delays may occur for reasons beyond our control, such as production delays, transport, or Customs issues. Please note that it's a shipment date, not a delivery date. Delivery timing depends on where you live and the shipment method selected.

Communications. Please use the contact form on our website for any request or question.

Components. Contents, images, and illustrations must be considered merely indicative of the final product and may be subject to change without notice.

Fairs. If you choose to pick up your game at a Fair and the game is unavailable, the Fair is delayed/canceled, Giochix participation is canceled, or if you miss picking it up, you must change your shipping method. This is possible by clicking the "Change shipment" button on your order page on our website. In that case, you will have to pay the shipping costs.
Please note that the game's shipment can be scheduled close to a Game Fair, such as Essen Fair in Germany or Lucca Comics and Games in Italy. It is important to note that we will be showing/selling the game at these fairs independently of the campaign shipment status. Attending these fairs is vital to the game's chances of success.

Pickup in Rome. If you choose the option for pickup in Rome, you must collect your order within 90 days of its availability: after this date, the availability of the products will no longer be guaranteed. All not collected orders will have to pay the storage cost of 1 euro/kg of product (or its fractions) every 30 days for the first 12 months and 2 euro/kg of product every 30 days after the first 12 months. This cost is not due if the order is collected within 90 days of product availability. After 24 months from product availability, all not collected orders will be wasted.

Order Canceling. An order can be canceled and fully refunded before the campaign's end by clicking the specific button on the order page. After the end of the campaign, the order can still be canceled and fully refunded within 7 days, with the campaign ending by sending us an email with the specific request. Please note that Paypal doesn't refund transaction costs, so if the consumer uses Paypal, the refund will not include these costs.
After this period, the order can still be canceled within 15 days of the campaign ending date, but please note that in this case, the refund will not include the processing costs and will be limited to 90% of the amount paid. Besides these options, the order is considered valid and is not cancelable/refundable.

After 24 months from product availability, all unprocessed or uncompleted orders, no matter the reason, will be wasted.

We reserve to our sole discretion the right to exclude from the campaign (canceling and refunding the pledge) those who have been banned from using Kickstarter and/or other crowdfunding platforms, which have been reported as fraudulent users by Paypal or by a credit card provider (like Mangopay), which use a "fake" account, which use the platform as spammers, which have missing payments, or who have or have had dishonest, unbecoming and/or defamatory conduct.

Complaints deadline. We will no longer accept complaints about this campaign's products after 12 months from the game's availability date, which is the date of the first shipment. For any shipping-related problems, complaints must reach us within seven days of delivery.

Shipments. We ship by postal service or supported courier (UPS, GLS, SDA, DHL, etc.). We reserve the right to separate the contents of orders into different shipments or merge different orders in the same shipment. If this happens, there will be no additional costs to you as a customer nor the right to any refund.

Tracking. Shipments made by courier or by the insured postal service can be tracked. Shipments made by the postal service cannot be traced, and although they happen very rarely (0.1-1% of cases), they can be lost.

Timing. Courier shipments may take about 1-2 days for Italy, 3-6 days for EU/US/Canada, and 1-2 weeks for the rest of the world. Postal service shipments require about 1-2 weeks for Italy, 3-10 weeks for EU/US/Canada, and 4-14 weeks for the rest of the world. Please note that the postal service can be slow and may suffer several weeks of additional delay, especially near or during the holidays, like Christmas. This rarely happens, but it is still possible and is out of our control. If you would like faster delivery or wish to avoid any risk of a long delay in the package's arrival, please use a courier service.

Insurance. Courier shipment assurance ensures package loss, destruction, and package damage. Postal service insurance ensures package loss or destruction. Insurance requires a customer claim to be made when the package is delivered: if you spot any damage, please ask the postal carrier to make you a receipt "accepted with reserve". Then inform us immediately, no later than 7 days from the delivery of the package.

Claims. Claims for lost/not received packages must be made within 120 days of the shipment date. Claims for damaged or missing packages must be sent within seven days from receipt of the package. After these deadlines, claims are not accepted. We use very good package protection and in this way, damages to the games during transport rarely happen. Please note that we don't accept claims for aesthetical damages to the box in this unlucky case but only claims for damages that influence the gameplay.

Errors. If the game failed to arrive because of your mistake (wrong address, recipient absent, not picking up at courier/postal warehouse, etc.), you will have to pay an additional shipping/warehousing cost for us to re-send/re-deliver your game. This cost will also include the return costs of the game. On the other hand, we will send it again to you at our expense if the error is ours. If the package is lost or destroyed, we will reship it at our expense only if it is insured. In this case, it will be the customer's responsibility to choose a second shipment, a safer or more reliable method if the first one did not work, and to pay any difference in cost, if any. The choice of non-traceable shipping methods for a second shipment will automatically exonerate us from any responsibility regarding the game's delivery.
Please note that we will not reship any game without investigating what happened to the first shipment. This can be processed quickly through the courier service option but may require an additional 1-5 weeks through the postal service.

Customs. Depending on your Country, Customs taxes and/or VAT may be added. If this happens, the transporter company could add a cost to the management of Customs. Please check your country's rules and regulations. Any additional tax, cost, or additional charge due to Customs will not be our responsibility and will be paid by the customer.
Please verify your country's rules and regulations if the project has a "friendly" symbol, like "US-friendly". This
symbol is only an indication as rules can change at any moment.

Shipping costs. Since the actual game shipment takes place several weeks/months after the campaign ends, the shipping costs are estimated. In the case that, in the meantime, the costs have increased, the customer will have to pay the difference between the amount paid and the actual cost. Otherwise, we will proceed with the shipment by changing the selected shipping category with a cheaper one, or, if not possible, we will stop the shipping process.

Pledge Manager. After a few weeks from the end of the campaign, the Pledge Manager will be active. This procedure allows participants to confirm and revise their orders, purchase add-ons, and update their profile/delivery address. The Pledge Manager will be up for a few days to a specific deadline. We strongly recommend all participants complete the pledge manager within the expiration date. If not, please consider that:
- Any special campaign price for addons expires with the Pledge Manager deadline. After that date, all addons will be available at a normal price.
- The shipping price may be higher.
- We will not be able to guarantee the availability of any exclusive content made in a limited quantity.
- We cannot guarantee the scheduled shipment date as a delay could happen.
- We will not be able to guarantee the pickup in Rome or at a Fair's Stand (if available in the project).
Users of Giochistarter can access the pledge manager by opening their order page. If a campaign has been run on this platform, other platforms' users will receive access data by email.
