Giochistarter is the crowdfunding platform of Giochix.it, the Rome-based board game publisher founded by Inmedia Srl.
Launched on June 17, 2014 with its first campaign — Historia, a civilization game by Marco Pranzo — Giochistarter was created to give the community a direct way to support new Giochix titles before production: choosing their reward, unlocking stretch goals, and helping bring games to life that would otherwise never exist.
Over time the platform has expanded: it now also hosts auctions of new and used games and a shop with selected titles.
In May 2026 Giochistarter also opened a physical store in Rome, at Via G. Galliano 18, where you can find a wide selection of games from all brands and meet fellow players like you.
